Driving home tonight I was reminded of all the things that I love about summer.
- the smell of fresh cut grass
- summer sunrises-the colors are so vivid
- how the sunlight hits the cornfields. It's even better in the fall when they look like fields of gold.
- cool breezes
- opening the house windows and blinds
- summer thunderstorms
- hiking/camping
- time in/on the water (still haven't gone canoeing at sunset at Eagle Creek yet)
- farmer's markets
- sitting on the patio
- flowers
- being outside with a good book or listening to some great music
- gardening
- long bike rides
- hanging out with friends
- outdoor movies
- taking naps in the hammock
- ice cream

Coming home from vacation to find yummy cookies from your roomie.
Waking up at 4:30 because China gave you jet lag.
Dining outside/picnics.
Symphony on the Prairie.
Wandering around on the canal.
Having coffee with the Cardinals
Iced Tea with the Yellow Finches
A glass of wine with the Hummingbirds.
Jazz at Eagle Creek (or anywhere outdoors)
Herb gardening
Definitely thunderstorms
Afternoon naps

Hiking Eagle Creek to that cove and laying on the picnic table watching the sunset
